MOBILE LIBRARY - 2021-22
Somerset County Council library services are available 24/7 online at www.somersetreads.co.uk where you can download books, audiobooks and magazines. If you are not a library member, you can sign up for membership via the website.

Monthly Mobile Library stops in Brompton Regis on Tuesdays every 4 weeks from 18 January 2022:
9.40 - 9.55am Lower Holworthy
10.05 - 10.20am South Greenslade Farm
10.30 - 10.50am George Inn
11.00 - 11.15am Combeshead
Visits are every four weeks from 22 June 2021 (so, 20 July, 17 August etc).

Covid -19 Vaccine appointments
If you have no transport, the Community Bus may be able to take you to your vaccine appointment. To find out if we can help, call 07925 044262. Please give plenty of notice of your appointment so that we have the best chance of arranging a volunteer driver for you.
BUS 678 - THURSDAYS ONLY
Dulverton to Minehead via Brushford, Exebridge, Bury, Skilgate, Upton, Brompton Regis and Timberscombe.
Departs Dulverton Fishers Mead 0915, arrives Minehead 1045.
Departs Minehead 1300, arrives Dulverton Fishers Mead 1445.
Stopping times in Brompton Regis Parish (approximate):
- Bury out 0935 and back 1405
- Haddon Close, then Village Hall out 1009 and back 1335
The scheduled times do vary according to traffic and road conditions.
Passengers may hail the bus as it passes through the parish. Please be very clear if you are hailing the bus en route – don’t simply wave or our lovely drivers (and passengers) may wave back and drive on!
Seats are limited. Please book yours – phone 07925 044262 by 2.30pm on the previous day .
Passengers are required to wear face masks on board and use hand sanitiser (provided) before boarding the bus.
RECYCLING AND REFUSE COLLECTIONS
When a Bank Holiday falls on a day when refuse and / or recycling is collected, the collection will take place one day later than the normal schedule.

The Post Office is USUALLY open every week in Brompton Regis Village Hall at the following times
Monday 9.00am - 12 noon
Thursday 1:30pm - 3.30pm

Brompton Parish Lifts
This is a volunteer run service for residents of Brompton Regis Parish. It is mainly used for medical and other essential appointments in the area. A charge is made for the service. For example: Return to Dulverton £5; return to Minehead £13.
Call the co-ordinators on 01398 371488 to request a Lift. Please give plenty of notice, and at least 24 hours notice, when you request a lift for your journey.
