If you have been into the shop recently, hopefully you will have seen some new faces behind the counter, with both Angela Horne and Jo Woodman joining the team in the past couple of months.
And, you may have noticed other changes too! Our new pavement sign has arrived and has withstood the unseasonal May weather we have had and our fab new fridge (thanks to funding from the Brompton Regis Show & Gymkhana) has also arrived – it’s brighter and quieter than the old fridge and more energy efficient too.
Other changes we have made recently include extending our range of John May frozen meat and we now stock venison sausages, mince, steaks, stewing steak, burgers alongside whole chicken and chicken breasts; perfect for Sunday lunch or weekday dinner, BBQ or a special treat!

We really appreciate the loyalty of our regular customers – all of you who choose to buy from the shop and help support our community. However, to ensure the village shop thrives and survives we are always looking to attract new customers so please encourage your friends and neighbours to shop with us too.
It’s also exciting to see the Sold Signs replace the For Sale Signs around the village and we look forward to welcoming our newest residents and hope they will become regular customers too.
